Two decades of building teams that hit the number.

Heather Philand has spent more than 20 years driving revenue, building brands, and leading sales organizations, including senior sales leadership roles at a luxury members-only travel company and a growth-stage hospitality membership brand. The luxury travel years

Thirteen years. Five roles. One IPO.

Heather joined a luxury members-only travel company as its 18th employee in 2011, launching its philanthropic program before moving into sales in 2013 and rising to Vice President of Sales by 2020.

As VP she built and led teams of up to 40 with four direct sales leaders, delivered more than $20 million in new-member sales annually, and consistently hit 100 to 114% of revenue quota. In 2022 she stood on stage at NASDAQ for the company’s IPO.

The next build

Building the machine at a scaling membership brand.

At a growth-stage hospitality and lifestyle brand, Heather built the sales function for a scaling membership business: hiring and training the team, implementing KPI tracking, strengthening CRM configuration and pipeline visibility, and building the budget and forecasting model behind a $3.7 million annual revenue plan.

The unusual part

She didn’t start in sales.

The first decade of Heather’s career sat at the intersection of hospitality, PR, and marketing. She ran PR and marketing for Concept Restaurants in Denver, then led sales and marketing for The Capital Grille, building brand partnerships with Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., and Four Seasons.

That trifecta of PR, marketing, and sales shapes how she works today: she sees the entire path from brand awareness to closed revenue, not just the last mile.

What her teams keep repeating

She unlocks people.

Former team members consistently say the same thing: Heather unlocks potential in salespeople and gets them excited to perform at a higher level. She pairs that with an operational spine of process, forecasting, and accountability, because motivation without structure doesn’t scale.

“For three years, I had the privilege of working under her leadership and I can honestly say she was one of the most impactful mentors I’ve ever had. She led with strength, clarity, and heart, always knowing when to push, when to listen, and when to celebrate the small wins. She believed in me even on the days I didn’t, and that kind of support is something I’ll never forget.”
